Richard Wilson KC, LL.D
Richard Wilson, KC, LL.D., is the chief patron and consultant for international arbitration, commercial, public, administrative, and employment law. He is often instructed in cases that require the interpretation of written instruments (contracts, statutes, etc.).
He has been involved in some landmark decisions in the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom and the Court of Appeal on a range of matters, including the interpretation of the European Union Reception Directive, the misuse of confidential information, and the account of profits as a remedy, and the principles governing the entitlement to costs in judicial review cases.
Richard’s principal area of practice is commercial disputes. He has considerable experience litigating domestic and international disputes (e.g., distributorship agreements, sales of goods and services, agency agreements, etc.).
As for ADR, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) accredited Richard as an “outstanding” mediator in several categories and observed that he:

Rajiv Bakshi
Graduated in law from Delhi University in 1998. He has been in practice for more than 15 years and specializes in service law, commercial and corporate law, alternative dispute resolution, trade practices, and competition law. He has developed considerable expertise in advising clients on key issues relating to commercial, corporate, civil, debt recovery, and alternative dispute resolution. He has been very active in drafting and preparing various legal documents for clients and also in vetting documents on behalf of clients, as well as advising clients on the pros and cons of the transaction proposed to be entered into with other parties.
Bhanita Patowary
She completed her LL.B. in 2009 from Gauhati University, Assam, and has been associated with our firm since 2010. She specializes in company and corporate law, contract law, service and labour law, matrimonial law, and the drafting of various agreements and contracts. She has been conducting and defending clients in litigation and arbitration extensively. She has dealt with various issues relating to company law, contract law, and property law and has been representing clients in various arbitration matters. She actively interacts with clients and advises them on day-to-day queries relating to company law, contract law, and arbitration matters.
Vivaswan Awasthi
Vivaswan is called to the Indian Bar, and is registered at Abu Dhabi Global Markets (ADGM). Vivaswan previously worked at a Tier 1 Indian law firm focusing on complex corporate transactions, project financing, debt financing, Private Equity deals across a range of industries. Vivaswan also worked in-house at a SWF funded neo-bank in India and assisted them in setting up their operations in India. Vivaswan regularly advises a range of US corporate entities on their data handling and investment strategies with respect to their Middle East and India operations. Vivaswan graduated from National Law School, Gujarat and is a receipient of Advocate Sanat P Mehta Gold Medal in Income Tax Law
Suchi Sharma
As a senior partner of the firm, she has been instrumental in the onset and growth of the firm. She graduated in law from Meerut University and has worked in all areas of law, which include matrimonial disputes, property disputes, child-related disputes, maintenance, and child support matters. During her practice of over 25 years, she has also developed expertise in drafting contracts, agreements, deeds, etc., and she also supervises the legal audit of financial institutions regularly carried out by the firm.
D. K. Sharma
Graduated in law with a specialization in real estate and property law and has been in practice for over 20 years. He has considerable expertise in matters involving complex issues relating to commercial agreements, contracts, and compliances of real estate companies and other property disputes. He has advised numerous clients on key issues relating to civil disputes and commercial transactions. He provides prompt and speedy solutions to the needs of clients to suit their requirements.
G. K. Sharma
Graduated in law from Delhi University in 1992. He has practiced intensively in the litigation and alternative dispute resolution fields. He has advised clients not only on liability considerations but also on strategic aspects. He adopts a technically meticulous approach in all matters while fully understanding the importance of resolving disputes in a swift and cost-effective manner for the client.
Avinash Lakhanpal
Specialist in commercial and property law. He acts on behalf of major commercial clients and offers expertise in insurance litigation, commercial transactions, and property-related litigation. He is also the supervising partner of the litigation division. He regularly appears before the Hon’ble High Court and other tribunals and forums. He is the “Advocate-on-Record” of the Supreme Court of India and has an experience of about 16 years.
